01

Pricing & booking

Pricing, estimates and scheduling

Every property and design is different, but the reservation process is straightforward.

How much does professional Christmas light installation cost?

Residential packages start at $700. Final pricing depends on the home, roofline, trees, landscaping and display design. Commercial properties require a custom site review. We provide a free, no-obligation estimate so you can approve the complete scope before reserving an installation date.

Do you offer free Christmas light installation estimates?

Yes. Rooftop Holiday Lighting provides free estimates for residential and commercial properties. Your proposal is based on the display you approve rather than a one-size-fits-all package.

Is a deposit required to reserve installation?

Yes. A 50% deposit reserves your installation date. The remaining balance is due after installation.

When is the best time to book Christmas light installation?

July through September is the best booking window because it provides the widest choice of installation dates. Most installations take place in October and November. Later requests may still be possible when the schedule allows.

How long does professional Christmas light installation take?

Many residential installations are completed within a few hours. Larger homes, extensive tree work and commercial projects can require more time. Your proposal and scheduling conversation will reflect the scope of your approved design.

Do I need to be home during installation?

Usually not. If the crew has access to the approved installation areas and an available power source, you generally do not need to be home. Any access instructions should be confirmed before your appointment.

02

Design & installation

Lights, design and professional installation

The display is custom planned for your property, architecture and preferred holiday style.

What is included with your Christmas light installation service?

The all-inclusive service includes custom design, commercial-grade LED lights, professional installation, timers and necessary cords for the approved display, in-season maintenance, January takedown and off-season storage.

Do I own the Christmas lights?

Rooftop Holiday Lighting’s standard service is a lease program. We supply and maintain the commercial-grade lighting materials, replace worn or failed included components as needed, remove the display after the season and store it for the following year.

Can I choose the colors and style of my display?

Yes. Every display is custom designed around your home or property and your preferred look. Options can include classic warm white, red and white, multicolor or another coordinated palette, depending on product availability and the approved design.

Do you install on steep roofs and two-story homes?

Yes. The experienced, insured team is equipped to install on many single-story, two-story, tall and steep rooflines. The property is evaluated so the display and installation plan can be matched to the structure and safe access conditions.

Will installation damage my roof or gutters?

The crew uses professional clips and installation methods selected for the surface, and avoids nails, screws or unnecessary penetrations wherever appropriate. Existing conditions and unusual materials are reviewed before installation so the safest suitable attachment plan can be chosen.

Can you decorate trees, shrubs, columns, wreaths and garland?

Yes. Designs can include rooflines, trees, shrubs, columns, wreaths, garland, entry features and other suitable landscape elements. The scope is measured and priced as part of your custom proposal.

How much electricity do commercial-grade LED lights use?

Commercial-grade LEDs are energy efficient compared with traditional incandescent holiday lights. The actual change in electricity use depends on the size of the display, daily run time and your local utility rate.

03

Season service

Maintenance, weather, takedown and storage

Installation day is only the beginning of the full-season service.

What happens if part of my Christmas light display stops working?

Contact Rooftop Holiday Lighting if an included section stops working. We will schedule a service visit to diagnose the issue and restore covered display elements under the terms of your agreement.

What happens if wind or bad weather affects my display?

Let us know when weather causes a problem. The team will inspect the display and complete covered repairs under the terms of your agreement. Severe weather and unsafe conditions can affect service timing, and some damage may fall outside standard maintenance coverage.

Do you replace burned-out bulbs?

Yes. Replacement of failed bulbs and covered in-season maintenance are included with the standard lease program.

When are Christmas lights removed?

Takedown is scheduled during January after the holiday season. The crew carefully removes the approved display so you do not have to climb a ladder or manage the post-holiday project yourself.

Do you store the lights after takedown?

Yes. After takedown, the lighting materials are inspected, organized and stored during the off-season for the next holiday cycle.

04

Commercial & service area

Commercial projects and North Texas coverage

Rooftop Holiday Lighting serves homes, businesses and community properties across the region.

Do you offer commercial Christmas light installation?

Yes. We provide holiday lighting for retail centers, HOA entrances, municipalities, office buildings, medical offices, churches, restaurants, event venues and other commercial properties.

Can you handle large commercial holiday-lighting projects?

Yes. Commercial displays are custom scoped around the property, schedule, access, power and operational requirements. A site review is used to create an appropriate design and proposal.

Can commercial installation be scheduled around business hours?

Whenever possible, installation is planned to reduce disruption to customers, residents, employees and normal operations. Access windows and site rules should be discussed during the proposal process.
